Practical Information
What to Wear
Comfortable, warm walking shoes are essential. Wine cellars are kept at a constant 10°C (50°F), so bring extra layers and a wind/waterproof jacket. The van has plenty of space for a bag.
Weather
We operate in all conditions — rain, wind, or fog. If the forecast is severe, we can suggest an alternative date where possible. Don't leave the Loire Valley tour as your last-day activity — keep flexibility for rescheduling if needed.
Drive Time
Approximately 2.5 hours each way from Paris. Your guide stops for coffee & croissants on the way out, and a refreshment break on the return journey.
Wine Tastings
Entrance fees and tastings at wineries are not included but can be arranged. Your guide can recommend the best producers for your taste preferences — from prestigious Vouvray houses to intimate family-run cellars.
