PROPOSED ITINERARY DAY ONE
6:30am depart | Direct pick up from your accommodation in Paris. 4h drive to Bruges |
Bruges | Also known as the Venice of the north due to its canals crossing the city. Visit and sightseeing of the city |
Church of our lady | Visit and see Michelangelo's famous sculpture Madonna with Child |
Ghent | Visit the picturesque historical center and old town |
Ghent altarpiece | Visit the museum of the Ghent Altarpiece and learn its story |
Ghent castle | Medieval castle in the heart of Ghent with a great collection of medieval arms and armour |
+/- 5pm drop off to your accommodation | Suggestions of the hotels will be sent to you upon booking |

German cemetery | German casualties from the Battle of the Bulge *Optional |
Foy | Village from which the Germans were continuisly attacking the Easy Company positions |
Jack Woods | Walk through the parts of forest where the Easy Company "Band of Brothers" were defending Bastogne. Foxholes are still visible all around the woods. |
Bizory chapel | Turned into a provisional aid station |
Mandarsson Memorial | Honoring the memory of the Americal sondier who lost their lives or were wounded in the Battle of the Bulge |
Bastogne museum | One of the best WW2 museums focusing on the Battle of the Bulge and the Bastogne siege |
Bastogne square | Monument to Gen McAuliffe and Sherman tank Barracuda. Learn about the days of siege of Bastogne. |

We operate in any weather conditions such as rain, wind or fog. Good clothes and cofortable, warm walking shoes are strongly adviced.
