PROPOSED ITINERARY DAY ONE

7:00am depart Direct pick up from your accommodation in Paris
Chateau Chambord
Chambord is a radically unique work, one of the jewels in the heritage of humankind. you will discover extraordinary architecture imagined by François I and imbued with the spirit of Leonardo da Vinci. Chambord is perhaps the equivalent in architecture of Mona Lisa in painting
Vouvray wineries The Vineyards of Vouvray appellation stretches out from the eastern limits of the city of Tours and covers 8 villages. The majestic and characterful Loire River is a natural temperature regulator. Its effects can be felt in the vineyard thanks to the many valleys that shape the hillsides. Vouvray product around 110 000 hl (60% sparkling; 40% still wines) with 180 wine growers
Traditional lunch Traditional lunch or sandwiches in the car (can be decided on the day)
Chateau Chenonceau A Renaissance masterpiece ; the history of the Château de Chenonceau is defined by a an almost uninterrupted succession of women who built, embellished, protected, restored and saved it. It is a home to an extraordinary collection of furniture, tapestries and paintings. The Flower Garden is an unmissable part of any visit

Stop for a tasting of local wines & products
Other interesting sightseeing Multiple short stops while driving through Loire Valley countryside. Stop for sightseeing, great panorama and other interresting sites with historical stories
+/- 5pm Fontevraud abbey Overnight stay in a Royal abbey Fontevraud dating back to 1101. Part of the abbey is converted today into a hotel with great gastronomic restaurant. You can visit and walk the old corridors of the abbey anytime of the day & night while staying in as a guest

Chateau Azay-le-Rideau The Château d'Azay-le-Rideau was built on an island in the Indre River under the patronage of King Francis the First. A subtle blend of French tradition and innovative Italian decor, it is an icon of the new art of building in the Loire Valley in the 16th century
Burgeuil wine tasting & lunch Bourgueil produces mostly red wines (one of only very few Loire appellations to do so) and a small quantity of rosé, both characterized by their crisp, refreshing acidity and prominent spiced fruit flavors
Chateau de Breze Considered one of the most intriguing castles of the Loire, partly due to its underground fortress and village cut directly into the chalky stone. Discovering the castle's history will allow you to understand the bond some of the Kings of France had with it. You will be able to take a break by tasting of their wines that are produced on premises.
Saumur Saumur is a very scenic place with its magnificent turreted château overlooking the Loire Valley and old town stretching along the wild river. The third most extensive winegrowing region of France, Saumur has nearly 20,000 hectares of vines, with 32 appellations, including Saumur Champigny, Cabernet d'Anjou and Savennières. Its Tank Museum holding an impressive collection - even a working German King Tiger tank
Tasting at a small producer, visiting the chateau Saumur or its tank museum can be decided on the day depeding on your mood

City of Angers
City of Art and History located on the edge of the River Maine, the capital of Anjou has a rich architectural heritage. Key monument of the city, the castle of Angers built in the 13th century. Flanked by seventeen towers, this impressive medieval fortress is home to a masterpiece: the famous Apocalypse tapestry

Chateu Villandry or Langeais
The Chateau of Villandry is the last of the great chateaux of the Loire built during the Renaissance in the Loire Valley. The sober elegance of its architecture combined with the charm of its outstanding gardens make this one of the jewels of world heritage. Allow yourself a break with a lunch break at the Chateau of Villandry’s restaurant, La Doulce Terrasse where many of the products grown in its gardens.
Chateau Amboise This royal château is the expression of French-style luxury. From its balconies, its roofs and its terraced gardens, visitors can take in the Loire landscape and delight in what the kings enjoyed. Leonardo da Vinci tomb is preserved at the chateau

The city was the cradle of the automotive industry. No wonder that the first grand prix automobile in history was organized in 1906, which in 1923 became the famous "24 Hours of Le Mans".
