About This Tour
There is no better way to explore and learn about the massive sacrifice of the Allied forces during the Battle of Normandy than on this comprehensive 2-day tour. Focusing on the US progress through Normandy battlefields — from the "bloody" D-Day beaches, through the difficult battles of the hedgerows, and ending at the Falaise Gap where the German army lost everything.
This tour captures the complete narrative of the Normandy campaign: the initial airborne drops, the beach landings, the brutal inland fighting, and the final encirclement of German forces. You'll stand on the actual ground where history was made, see preserved bunkers and fortifications, and understand the strategic decisions that shaped the liberation of Europe.

Proposed Itinerary — Day One
Day 1 covers the D-Day landings and initial airborne operations, from the drop zones inland to the beach assaults and the American Cemetery overlooking Omaha Beach.
Direct pickup from your hotel or accommodation anywhere in Paris. Coffee and croissants stop on the way.

• Angoville-au-Plain: Church where two US paramedic medics established an aid station
• Sainte-Marie-du-Mont: Objective of the 101st Airborne (Band of Brothers)

Day 2 follows the US Army's difficult progress inland through the hedgerows and culminates at the Falaise Gap, where German forces were encircled and defeated.

Drive through beautiful Norman countryside, seeing the landscape where the liberation battles were fought.

Visit the area where German forces were trapped. Explore the visitor center, watch the documentary film, and tour the museum dedicated to the Falaise Gap battles.
