7am depart Direct pick up from your accommodation in Paris
Tasting at a small producer Visit and tasting at a small winegrower producing 1er & Grand Cru wines
Chablis The picturesque town of Chablis, 20km east of Auxerre, has made its fortune growing, ageing and marketing the dry white wines that have carried its name to the four corners of the earth. A remarkable Cistercian heritage with the abbeys of Pontigny and Reigny, the Grange de Beauvais or the Petit Pontigny, medieval villages, a multitude of churches and wash houses, that’s what awaits you, stones side, during your Escale Chablis!
Sightseeing of the old town Walk the streets of Chablis & sightsee the monuments of the old town. Learn about his past and current life of locals in this northern part of Burgundy
La Chablisienne One of the oldes and biggest name of Chablis with the larges and most renomed selection of wines
Traditional lunch Traditional lunch in the old town or sandwiches in the car (can be decided on the day)
Tasting at Irancy Irancy is a nearby village producing light red Pinot Noir wines. Tasting at a small producer
Visit and tasting at Bailly la Pierre Production of sparkling Burgundy Chardonnays called "cremant". Visiting Bailly la Pierre is a unique experience as the whole wine production is in a man made cave inside a hill

Useful informations

Good clothes and cofortable, warm walking shoes. Visits of some castles and wine cellars might be a chilly experience due to the constant temperatures around 10°C (50°F).

We operate in any weather conditions such as rain, wind or for. In a case of a very bad weather we can reccommend an alternative day if possible. If you can, do not leave the Chablis day tour to your last day of stay - this will give you the flexibility to move the tour for a better experience.
