PROPOSED ITINERARY DAY ONE

6:30am depart Direct pick up from your accommodation in Paris. Almost 4h drive to Mont st Michel
Mont st Michel Visit of the island Mont st Michel and its Benedictine abbey. There is a fair amount of stair to get up and than down from the abbey. Good walking shoes are essential.
Mont Dol Unique place with great panorama, medieval church and a fascinating story
Menhir at Champ-Dolent Huge stone in a field placed here by ancient Celtic tribes between 5000-2000 BC
*St Lo & the Battles of the hedgerows *Only in exchange with Mont Dol & Menhir Champ-Dolent
Bayeux cathedral Beautifuly preserved cathedrale in the middle of the Normandy battlefields

Pointe du Hoc One of the most impressive sites of the whole Normandy. Remains of German bunkers, craters after bombing all accompanied by a great story

Useful informations

Appropriate clothing ! Good walking shoes and wind/water proof jacket are essential at the northern coast of France. In winter months extra clothing is recommended.
