Loire Valley châteaux & Vouvray wine
Chambord, then your choice of Chenonceau or Amboise, with tastings at a Vouvray producer and a small family winery.
Six châteaux in two days, a night in the 12th-century Royal Abbey of Fontevraud and tastings at Vouvray and Brézé.

Two days give the Loire the time it deserves. You see the most famous châteaux, each with its own style and story, and stay overnight at the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, founded in 1101, where part of the abbey is now a hotel with a gastronomic restaurant.
The Loire has hundreds of châteaux built by kings and nobles. This tour focuses on the finest and avoids the crowds where possible, with time for wine at Vouvray and Brézé.
A typical programme. As the tour is private, every stop can be changed.
We book your room at Fontevraud. The guide’s hotel, breakfast and dinner are included; your own room is not.
Château entrance and tasting fees are not included; we book tickets in advance.
