D-Day beaches & Giverny in 2 days
Day one in the American sector, a night in medieval Bayeux, then the British sector and Monet’s gardens at Giverny on the way back to Paris.
Monet’s water lilies at Giverny in the morning, then Rouen, the cathedral he painted more than 30 times and the square where Joan of Arc died in 1431.

A day for art lovers and history enthusiasts. In the morning you walk through the house and gardens of Claude Monet, the master of Impressionism, at your own pace. In the afternoon your guide shows you Rouen, a medieval city that was an English capital during the Hundred Years’ War.
This is one of our most popular tours with American guests, and a gentler day than the battlefields.
A typical day. As the tour is private, every stop can be changed.
Monet’s house and gardens are open only from spring to early November. In winter we suggest Rouen with another stop instead.
Entrance fees are not included; we book timed tickets for Giverny in advance.
About 1 h 15 to Giverny and 1 h 45 back from Rouen.
This tour is not part of the winter offer.
May and June for the flowers and the wisteria on the bridge; the water lilies bloom from summer into early autumn. Arrive early to avoid crowds.
Honfleur or Étretat make the day much longer. Ask about a two-day trip instead.
The booking fee is non-refundable. For one-day tours cancelled more than one month ahead, it can be used for a future tour; for multi-day tours, more than three months ahead. If we cancel for safety reasons, such as severe weather, we refund it in full. Read the full terms.
Yes. It is for your group only, from 1 to 7 guests, with pickup at your Paris hotel, and the itinerary can be changed on the day.
