## About this tour

Two days give the Loire the time it deserves. You see the most famous châteaux, each with its own style and story, and stay overnight at the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, founded in 1101, where part of the abbey is now a hotel with a gastronomic restaurant.

The Loire has hundreds of châteaux built by kings and nobles. This tour focuses on the finest and avoids the crowds where possible, with time for wine at Vouvray and Brézé.
