What personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have under the GDPR.

## Who is responsible

SARL Prihoda Saulnier (Private Trip France), Fontainebleau, France, is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: info@privatetrip.fr.

## What we collect

When you contact us or book: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, travel dates, number of guests, pickup address and anything you choose to tell us, such as dietary needs or information about a relative for ancestry research. When you book, we also keep the booking and payment records.

When you send the request form on this website, it is delivered to us by email from our own server. To protect the form against spam, the server keeps a one-way hash of your IP address and the time of sending; it is deleted within 24 hours.

## Why we use it, and on what basis

To answer your request and prepare a proposal (steps taken at your request before a contract); to run your tour and book restaurants, hotels or tickets for you (performance of the contract); to keep accounting records (legal obligation); and to improve our service, protect the website and answer complaints (legitimate interest). We never sell your data and do not send newsletters unless you ask for them.

## Who receives it

Only the people who need it: our guide and trip planner; hotels, restaurants, wineries and museums we book for you, limited to what they need; for ancestry research, the record services we use, such as Ancestry®, limited to the details of your relative; and the providers of our email, messaging and website hosting. Some of these providers, such as WhatsApp, may process data outside the European Union under the safeguards required by the GDPR.

## How long we keep it

Requests that do not lead to a booking: up to 3 years after our last contact. Booking and accounting records: as long as the law requires, generally 10 years for accounting documents. Ancestry research files: until you ask us to delete them.

## Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format, by writing to info@privatetrip.fr. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

## Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not load third-party scripts. Fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading a page does not send your data to a third party. Links to TripAdvisor, Viator, Google Maps, WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.

## Changes

We may update this policy; the date of the latest version is shown on this page.
