Private day tour to Normandy D-Day beaches from Paris

You might heard that Normandy is known as well as "The Floral Coast", but it is best known for the D-day landing's operations that took place here during the World War II. Assaults on Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword beach were a significant turning point in the war which changed the fate of the Europe and the world.
Private Trip offers you a driver guide day tour to Normandy from Paris which can be customized and adapted to your wish.

Two itineraries proposed to tour Normandy D-day sites:

The Normandy day tour starts at 6:30am with direct pick up at your centrally located Paris hotel. You will be traveling in a air-conditioned, spacious van and your driver/guide will accompany you throughout the whole day. He will show you the D-Day sites and tell you all the interesting stories of WW2 landings, how the Germans lived with the locals what happened before-after the invasion and many other anecdotes. The tour is private and, once booked, you will not share it with second party. This makes the tour more personal and flexible.

Great for "History Buffs" but as well for those who has little or no knowledge of the war history. The heroic stories from the battlefields and the breathtaking beauty of Normandy coast makes it a "Must To Do" day tour while visiting Paris !

"If you had a relative that participated in the Battle of Normandy or in any other battle to liberate Europe do not hesitate to inform us about it while booking the tour. In this case we can do the necessary research on the individuals with their divisions and perfectly personalize the tour for you!"

"Shannon J - June 2018 / 5* VIATOR"

Let me start by saying our guide Jozef was the best. He was experienced, multi-lingual, knowledgeable, solid driving skills, great sense of humor and just a lot of fun to spend the day with. I would highly recommend taking this tour with Joe. My wife, daughter and I took this private tour the day before Memorial Day. We visited the German Cemetery, Point De Hoc, Omaha Beach/Cemetery and the Artificial Harbor with lunch in Port en Bessin. Joe shared all the essential information needed to understand this historical battle, but he also allowed time for us to personal reflect on the sacrifice given on this beachfront. Being the day before Memorial Day the American Cemetery was all decorated with both French and American flags we even had multiple flyovers by a U.S. Air Force C-130 yea, it was awesome! It was a long day, but honestly it was the highlight of our trip. I would not only recommend taking this tour, take it with Joe he was awesome.
