Having a spare two day's while visiting Paris? Then you should not miss our private tour to the town Bastogne and its area, known during the Battle of Bulge as "The Bastion of the Battered Bastards of the 101st Airborn". As well as a visit to the city of Luxembourg city and Maginot Line fortress.
Proposed itinerary for Bastogne & Luxembourg tour:
Pick up by your private driver/guide at your hotel in/around Paris at 7:00 am in a luxurious, air-conditioned Mercedes minivan. The tour is completely private and once booked, you will not share it with other guests. This makes the tour more personal and flexible.
The first day starts with a visit of Bastogne Barracks Museum, once a base of the 101st Airborne, and the 10th Armored Division. The museum holds a great collection of military vehicles of both Allied and German Army. Lunch in a traditional Belgian restaurant, where the veterans of the 101st division still reunite!
In the afternoon, some other interesting stops and sightseeing around the Bastogne battlefield area. One of the most important stops will be in the "Jacks Woods" where the 101st "Easy Company" (Band of Brothers) hold off the German counterattacks. You will visit the woods where you are able to see and step into the foxholes of the "Easy Company". Afterwards you will finish the day in the Bastogne War Museum and visit the Mardasson Memorial before you head for a night in Luxembourg city.
On the second day, together with your guide, you will walk through the historical center of Luxembourg city with some time for shopping (if you like to do so) and walk around the city's citadel. After lunch you will visit the American cemetery of WW2 near Luxembourg where General G.S. Patton Jr and other brave men rest in peace.
Your next visit will be the "Fort Fermont" a part of the Maginot Line defence system. Together with a local guide, you will be able to visit the ammunition, infantry, artillery and observation block. As well as two combat blocks which are connected with and underground gallery system extending over 1,000 metres (3,300 ft) from end to end (visit on a small train).

The Bastogne and Luxembourg two days tour includes English speaking driver/guide, all road charges, pick up/drop off to the hotel and insurance while in the car. The tour excludes any personal expences, lunch and hotel.
